STAR WARS MASHUP SERIES
The seventh and final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars hits next month, Rian Johnson is currently developing a new STAR WARS trilogy, and we have a Knights of the Old Republic film or series to look forward to. Season two of Disney+'s The Mandalorian drops later this year, with Cassian Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi series also on the horizon. This is top notch splicing right here.Īlthough STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER will soon vacate theaters, fans of the franchise have much to look forward to. Although this is a silly parody played for laughs, you can't ignore the editing of this video. Ditto the stormtrooper calling "Hey!" after Han Solo from RETURN OF THE JEDI. I absolutely lost it when Rey yelled "Finn!" leading into the "finger" part of the song. The juxtaposition of STAR WARS characters against a catchy 1990s hit song is just so jarring you can't help but laugh. Honestly, I had never seen this video until just recently and I have to say I chuckled quite a bit. Well some geniuses over at The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon decided to feature some STAR WARS all-stars in a video to the tune of "All Star" by the 90s rock band Smash Mouth. The STAR WARS universe is certainly comprised of a plethora of All-Stars, everyone from Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, to Kylo Ren and Salacious Crumb. This next one while a few years old, has been making the rounds again over the last week on Twitter. Thankfully, fans of all things geeky often employ their talents for good, especially in the realm of parody videos. Take a gander at some of the flame wars on Twitter over THE LAST JEDI, or the endless Han/Greedo debate of "Who shot first?" if you don't believe me. As fantastic as this fanbase is, there's a certain loud vocal minority that can get downright nasty. STAR WARS fans (myself included) need to be reminded of this more often than not. It's important to remember occasionally that all these things are works of fiction. Consequently, when debates rage on social media about the comicbook accuracy of Scarlet Witch's outfit on film or why Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen isn't wearing violet contacts to match her character's eye color, things can get nasty. Multiversal Mashup can be another name to throw around. Realms Beyond the Rim specifically involves the connecting Star Realms and Star Wars. Whether you have an elaborate tattoo of Ben Mendelsohn's Talos on your lower back or named your first-born Frodo, some people take things a little too seriously. One idea now is to have Realms of Wars be a name of the system used to integrate different space opera deckbuilding ganes, like Star Realms and Star Wars Deckbuilding.
